We do not handle payments or verify product quality directly; these responsibilities lie with the users of the platform.
2. General Conduct
- Compliance with Laws: All transactions must adhere to local and national laws governing the sale and purchase of goods and services.
- Ethical Standards: Users are expected to conduct transactions with honesty and integrity, providing accurate descriptions and fair pricing.
3. Seller Responsibilities
- Accurate Listings: Provide clear and truthful descriptions of items for sale, including details like condition, size, and any defects. Include photographs that accurately represent the product.
- Availability: List only items that are currently available. Pre-sales or listings for items not in possession are prohibited.
- Livestock Sales: Ensure that all animals are healthy and meet all local health and safety standards before listing.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
- Inspection of Goods: Before finalizing any purchase, especially for high-value items or livestock, buyers are encouraged to inspect products in person or through detailed photos to confirm their condition.
- Timely Payments: Agree to and follow through with payment terms as negotiated directly with the seller.
5. Auctions
- Serious Bidding: Place bids only if you intend to purchase the item at the bid price. Retracting bids without a valid reason is discouraged and may result in penalties.
- Completion of Sale: Upon winning an auction, buyers must complete the transaction according to the agreed-upon terms, including timely payment to the seller.
6. Prohibited Activities
- No Misrepresentation: Sellers must not misrepresent their items or their condition. Similarly, buyers must not make false claims about their intentions or capabilities.
- Avoiding Fraud: Listings found to be fraudulent, including selling counterfeit or stolen goods, will be removed and may lead to suspension or permanent banning from the marketplace.
- Respectful Interaction: Maintain respectful and professional interactions with all users. Harassment, hate speech, or any discriminatory behavior will result in immediate action, up to and including permanent suspension.
7. Payments and Disputes
- Direct Transactions: All payments are to be made directly between the buyer and seller. KraalSense is not involved in the payment process and, thus, cannot be held liable for any payment disputes.
- Dispute Handling: Disputes should be resolved directly between the involved parties. We recommend keeping detailed records of all communications and agreements.
8. Penalties and Violations
- Enforcement: Violations of these guidelines may result in sanctions ranging from warnings to suspension and permanent banning, depending on the severity of the breach.
- Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report any activities that contravene these guidelines through the platform’s reporting system.
9. Amendments to Regulations
KraalSense reserves the right to update these rules and regulations as necessary. All changes will be communicated through the platform, and continued use of the marketplace after changes have been made will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
